Available Network Services

We currently offer Wireless DSL, SoHoConnect and Dialin.

Wireless

Customer Premises Installation $400: Must be paid for up front.
Downlod Rate: 1,500k Upload Rate: 1,500k
Monthly Cost vary according to your selected Commited Information Rate (CIR):
- CIR 64k - $50/mth
- CIR 128k - $200/mth
- CIR 256k - $350/mth
- CIR 512k - $500/mth
- CIR 1024k - $900/mth
SoHoConnect
SoHoConnect provides an internal network, phone system, and TV circuit for small offices and home offices.
Generally it provides each room with:
- Two network connections. Each connection is routable to the internet over our highspeed Wireless DSL.
- One dual line phone connection. Any phone can be connected to this system, and you can actually call phones in the same building. The phone system allows full access to the local area, both incomming and out going.
- One TV circuit. All local channels are free. This system allows you to order available movies to be displayed at your conveinence. All local news channels are archived upto three days, and can be viewed at your convienece. Any movie or archive can be fast forwarded or reversed for replay.
All equipment is warranted for as long as you own your home or office.
The total cost of this system will vary depending on the size of your DSL and the number of rooms serviced.
- A 5 room service with the standard DSL link could be as low as $10,000.
- There is no reoccuring charges. Once the system is active you do not pay for your high speed internet access, because it is built into system. Your phone usage is also non-reocurring.
- You do have to pay for the long distance calls, the movie rentals, any special channels you wish available, and any service agreement you may wish to purchase.
An available service agreement offers you insurance aginst failures and replace of any internal wiring, it offers a wall-to-wall extended warranty on your internal network. Service calls outside a services agreement will billed on the next monthly billing cycle. Labor on service calls are $40 per hour with a $40 minmum.

Dialin
All Internet Dialin Access Accounts are accessed via a dialin ppp (point-to-point-protocol).
You are required to have a working modem thats connected to an operational phone line.
$15 Setup fee. This also covers your access for the remainder of the month you are creating the new dialin account.
$15/mth Unlimited access, 6 email boxes, and web space, or
$10/mth for 100hours per month, 2 email boxes.
Most operating systems are supported.

Basiclly if your system can generate a ppp phone call and PAP passwords, then you should be able to connect with no problems.

Software

Any software that transmits and recieves the TCP/IP protocol or can connected to your TCP/IP stack can use this connection.

However, OCN only gives phone support for the applications needed for internet browsing and only supports the software that we provide for internet browsing. Although you can use any web browser of your choice, as of current, OCN only provides phone assistance for the Netscape browser packages.

Netscape Communicator 4.5 and higher.

Creating a web page

If you would like a personnel web page, but do not no how to write one, then we can create one for you from a standard template. This is a one time service free of charge, and does not include altering graphics (ie photo touchup), cgi scripts, forms, or any other sort of interactive scripting.

All buisness accounts fall under the same rule.

If you should desire a more functional webpage, and/or would like to have an entire website for your buisness or hobby, we do allow that. However, we do not allow any cgi script interface with the web server from the webpage/site., unless we are the ones writing the CGI code.

How much it cost and how you pay

To set up your account and get you connected cost $15.00, on site setups are $25.00 and include some extra internet utilities. The remaining days of the month (in which you connected) are free.

All months ARE PREPAID. Meaning one buys the next months subscription before one can use it.

Monthly subscription is $15.00 per month. ==> Unlimited access and six emails

                        $10.00 per month. ==> 100 hours or less

We will not bill your phone company nor do we accept charge/credit cards at this time. We will mail or email invoices the first of each month. We do not have a billing cycle due date. You are free to send in your subscription anytime between the first of the month and the last of the month.

During the setup process you will be given an address to send your subscription to, this address is also included in the monthly posting.
